How to be a good couple?

How to be a good couple?

A good partner doesn't make a good couple.
Two persons are able to become one but it's work!
What I realize every now and then is that we both need to look in the same direction, at least for the main parts of our life together.
Sure we will always be two unique persons and we don't need to have the same hobbies but we should have to have the same goal - growing old and wrinkle together.
You don't see too many good couples although they surely exist and the main reason is that they act normal. They don't talk about it in either way, good or bad, they do live.
Comparing yourself with other couples is the start to ruin your relationship as we are talking about humans, what's right for someone hasn't be the right choice or way of life for someone else.
The most important as a couple is to be happy with one another, not with people outside, not with family members or with whoever wants to step in.
A relationship is a couple thing, it hasn't to be a public topic on how it should be.
I even think that it would be boring for people outside to listen to couple stories, discussion, or fights about their relationship as these moments are intimate, unique and they only belong to these two persons.
If you two go along like you want a relationship to be then it's perfect!

Stay loving your life,
Miss Faith

Being able to spend time alone...

Being able to spend time alone...

...is so very important. A full schedule every day of the week just because you are not able to cope with yourself cannot be healthy. It's essential to know how to spend time alone and to cherish these times. Regardless of sitting on the couch and watch weird things on TV or reading a good book, just being alone shows us that we are we and only if we can be happy with ourselves we will be able to make others happy. I love it from time to time to do only things for me and these things can be thousands of different situations. Reading while eating lots of chocolate, listening to music on an open window with the sun on my face, not talking, not even picking up the phone for two hours. Your friends will still be there after three hours when you are in the mood to call them back.

Stay relaxed,
Miss Faith

What I Spend Money On

What I Spend Money On

Honestly, on too many things. And often on things I don't even would need but which give me the feeling of having a piece of luxury for my long working days and short free times. Food, as food is something where I seldom save money. If I want to eat a piece of beef fillet, I just buy it. I'm not eating it daily but if, then it has to be a good one. As women, and I'm pretty sure I am one, clothes, shoes, beauty stuff or something nice to decorate my flat and make it cosy is also something where I can spend lots of money.
Nowadays I try to take myself back as we need to plan a wedding and weddings let money vanish quickly. But during normal times there is always a certain piece of something which I haven't yet and which is needed desperately. Men can't understand that we need everything in different colors and shapes as they go along quite perfectly with a brown and a black pair of shoes and that's all they need. But think how stupid it would look like if I wear black shoes to a yellow dotted pink skirt. And the clutch in brown wouldn't fit either. Women do not have problems in buying all that stuff, it's more the men who are scared as they see their hard earned money going over the counter every time we wear something new. Luckily I'm a full time worker which means I don't have to rely on my husbands money and what's even more important I don't have to ask for permission.
Happy shopping, girls!
Take care, yours
Miss Faith

The third and last recipe of my cooking box test week

The third and last recipe of my cooking box test week

I really have to recommend www.kochabo.de
These guys have wonderful recipes and high quality food which they deliver - even for people new to cooking it's easy to follow and have a nice dinner.

The last recipe of the week was a Tomatoe-Ricotta-Tarte
I was already looking forward to cook it as I love tomatoes as well as ricotta cheese.
As side dish we had salad.
It's almost impossible to have a full dinner prepared quicker. Except of grating the Parmesan cheese and cutting the tomatoes nothing needs to be prepared upfront.
According to the recipe it was complete vegetarian but we changed it slightly and added bacon to have a bit of another taste inside.
Absolutely delicious!!! In less than half an hour everything was ready to be served.
And once again - if someone wants the full recipe, just let me know and I send it through.

The first time I prepared Tofu...

The first time I prepared Tofu...

...still cooking recipes from my cooking box test I went to the second recipe which was
stem cabbage radish vegetables with sesame tofu.

I like both, stem cabbage as well as radish, but the combination of them prepared with yoghurt, basil and lemon scoring was totally new to me. Tofu is something I never prepared before - it's getting a new thrill.
My sister already told me upfront that you need many spices for the tofu to have a taste in the end so I put more soya sauce than mentioned in the recipe to have it marinated.
Sesame added and fried in a pan it looked as delicious as on the picture I hot before.
The vegetables were prepared easily and after I filled the dishes it looked almost the same as on ten recipe picture.
What about the taste?
The vegetable itself was perfect, but the taste was not mine. I would have gone with simply salt pepper and a bit of cream, that would have been my personal taste.
And the completely new taste tofu - what should I say? It really looked delicious but tasted like nothing than sesame. Not even a bit of the soya sauce taste. This means a new challenge for the future - prepare it again and try to get more taste in - haha.
If someone is interested in the full recipe - just let me know and I will send it to you.

KR and a nice 1st May evening,
Miss Faith
